ACPs are central to how we deliver care, working autonomously alongside GPs across our practices. Many of our ACPs joined from hospital, urgent care and community settings, and we provide the training, supervision and support to make that move well.
Clinical leadership
Advanced practice is led by our Associate Director of Advanced Practice and Nursing, who is a practising ACP.
Supervision
Regular clinical supervision, in a team that includes GPs, pharmacists and mental health practitioners.
Development
Annual study leave, with opportunities in research and audit.
A route in
Nurses in our practices are training to become ACPs now.
